What we do
Rothes (A) Dairy Farm is a network of international volunteers dedicated to awareness, education and action regarding cow protection (goshala) as taught in the Vedic scriptures. We also offer guidance, support and grants to like-minded charitable organizations, throughout the world, who wish to honor and implement the Vedic standards of cow protection. At present we maintain over 270 abandoned cows, bulls, retired oxen, and orphaned calves. Please contact us for further information and to participate
Our mission here at Rothes (A) Dairy Farm is to provide not only a safe haven for cows who would otherwise have been destined for the slaughterhouse but also to provide them with a free and loving environment where they can live peacefully. It is our goal to protect as many cows as possible and to make them genuinely happy.
Living with animals can be a wonderful experience, especially if we choose to learn the valuable lessons animals teach through their natural enthusiasm, grace, resourcefulness, affection and forgiveness.
The greatness of a nation and its moral progress can be judged by the way its animals are treated.
